Frequently asked questions

How do I wash, dry, and iron my items to keep them looking best?

Washing: Hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle at max 30°C using non-enzyme/non-biological detergent. Wash items inside out, and wash strongly colored garments separately for the first few washes.

Drying: Do not tumble dry. Pull garments to shape and air dry inside-out away from direct sunlight. Lay knitted items flat to dry.

Ironing: Use a cool iron setting for Indian cottons and silk-polyester blends, and a medium heat setting for rayon viscose and linens.

What are your shipping rates, delivery times, and pickup options?

Rates & Areas: We charge a flat rate of R120 for delivery anywhere in South Africa (we do not ship internationally). Free local pickup is also available from our Craighall Park office in Gauteng.

Delivery Times: Orders are shipped via The Courier Guy from Gauteng. Delivery takes 5–7 working days for major cities and 5–10 working days for outlying or remote areas.

Tracking: You’ll receive an email with your tracking link once dispatched. Please ensure someone is available at your daytime address to sign for delivery.

What is your return policy, and which items are eligible?

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase. Items must be in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with all original tags attached, along with proof of purchase. Please note that sale, discounted, or promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Email hello@bohobeachco.co.za with your order number and item details.

We will provide you with the designated Boho Beach Co return address to send the item back to us.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item delivered was defective or incorrect.

How long do refunds and exchanges take to process?

Once your returned item is received, inspected, and approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days (depending on your bank). For exchanges, if your requested item is out of stock, we will offer you a full refund or store credit instead.
